KALAMITY KILLS’ powerful new single, “Starry Skies (988)” featuring Aaron Gillespie from Underoath, arrives with a poignant message just in time for Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. Vocalist Jamie Rowe, drawing from his own battles with depression and suicidal ideation, along with Jamey Perrenot, have crafted a song that resonates deeply with those who feel overwhelmed by life’s challenges. “When the weight of life feels too heavy, remember you’re not alone,” Jamie emphasizes. “You’ve survived 100% of the trials up til now; this is a call to hold on to hope. There’s always hope!” The collaboration with Aaron Gillespie, who brings both his drumming and vocal talents to the track, adds another layer of authenticity, as Aaron has also faced his own struggles with mental health.
