Gary Moore’s “Back to the Blues” gets vinyl release.

Gary Moore Featured

Gary Moore‘s 13th solo album, “Back to the Blues,” will be released on double heavyweight vinyl on October 13th. The album will also be released digitally and on CD. This is the first time the album has been released on vinyl. It contains new liner notes written by Dave Everley and bonus tracks “Picture of the Moon (Single Edit),” “Cold Black Night (Live at VH1),” and “Stormy Monday (Live at VH1).”

Gary Moore was a renowned blues and rock guitarist and vocalist. He is best known for his hit singles “Parisienne Walkways” and “Still Got the Blues,” as well as his time with the band Thin Lizzy.

Moore moved up the rock hierarchy in the 1980s, but he eventually turned his back on what he saw as the empty flash of metal and returned to his roots in blues music. Ironically, this is where he achieved his greatest commercial success in the 1990s and 2000s.

Moore played with some of the biggest names in rock and blues during his successful solo career, including George Harrison, Jack Bruce, Ginger Baker, Greg Lake, BB King, Albert King, Albert Collins, and many others. He is considered one of the most influential Irish musicians of all time and has been honored by both Gibson and Fender with signature guitars.
