San Diego melodic deathcore band Cascade Effect will release their new album The Weight of Nothingness on January 8, 2027 via Eclipse Records, with distribution through The Orchard.
Winners of the Wacken Metal Battle USA, Cascade Effect combine technical precision, brutal breakdowns and soaring melodies, and the new record confronts themes of mortality and modern isolation. The album was mixed by Matthew Denis (Nothing More, Greywind, Diamante) and mastered by Miro Kiiski (Hypocrisy, PAIN, Beast in Black).
