How we decide what to cover, who writes it, and how we fix mistakes.

What we cover
Lots of Muzik covers metal and rock: new releases, tours, interviews, reviews and videos. We do not cover everything we receive. We write about the music that grabs us and that we think is worth our readers’ time.
Who writes what
News and video posts are published under the Editorial Team name. Album reviews, concert reviews and interviews are signed, at the end of each piece, by the contributor who wrote them. Jorge Pozo is the Editor-in-Chief. Some of our contributors write under pen names.
Sources
News items are based on announcements from artists, labels and publicists, and on other public sources. Where it helps readers, we link to the original source, to the artist’s own pages or to the streaming platforms.
Reviews and interviews
Reviews and interviews reflect the views of their authors. Reviews are written after listening to the music.
Corrections
We make mistakes. If you find one, email [email protected] with the link to the article and what should change. We will review it and correct the article as soon as we can.
Images and press materials
We use photos and artwork supplied by artists, labels and publicists to cover their music. If you own an image and want it credited or removed, write to us. See also our Copyright & DMCA page.
