Connecticut metal band Dystopica release their new EP The Worst In Me on October 2 via Pavement Entertainment. Across six tracks, the record channels the spirit of legends like Judas Priest blended with modern metal in the vein of Jinjer and Trivium, delivering big choruses, powerful vocals, driving riffs and guitar solos while confronting the worst in oneself.
Alongside the EP, the band have premiered a video for “I Will Win This War”. Edited by Peter Jones-Torregrosa and filmed at The H.I.P. Studios in Bridgeport, Connecticut, the clip pairs cutaway visuals with a high-energy performance from the band.
“‘I Will Win This War’ is about resilience against inner turmoil. The static TVs in the video represent the constant noise that is always there weighing you down, and the prison cell represents feeling confined by the pressure.”
