Einar Solberg of Leprous has unveiled a brand new deluxe digital edition of his acclaimed solo album Vox Occulta, available to stream and download everywhere now. A bold, heavy, and symphonic statement recorded in collaboration with the much-sought-after Norwegian Radio Orchestra, the album gains a new dimension in this edition, which adds instrumental versions of every track — further spotlighting the dynamic orchestral performances that define the record’s cinematic progressive rock character.
Vox Occulta finds Solberg taking a deeply personal approach, drawing on more than two decades as an avid fan of classical music and film soundtracks. The lyrics are just as personal, making the album something of a thematic follow-up to his solo debut, 16. Where that first record revisited the death of his father and his past struggles with anxiety, Vox Occulta is a warts-and-all portrait of the artist and how he views the world in 2026.
Solberg will hit the road for his first-ever European headline tour this September, backed by an expanded live line-up: Quentin Godet (Ten56) on guitar, Eero Maijala (Royal Sorrow) on bass, Harrison White (Leprous, Novena) on keyboards, and Keli Guðjónsson (Agent Fresco) on drums, alongside a string section featuring Chris Baum (Bent Knee) on violin and Maya Fridman and Raphael Weinroth-Browne on cello. Support across the headline shows comes from Royal Sorrow, Raphael Weinroth-Browne, and Jovian Moons.
