We are excited to reveal that the renowned supergroup O.R.k will be embarking on an electrifying UK tour in May 2025, sharing the stage with The Paradox Twin for a series of live performances. The tour will feature four exciting dates:
- Thursday, 22nd May – Southampton, The 1865
- Friday, 23rd May – London, 229
- Saturday, 24th May – Kidderminster, 45 Live
- Sunday, 25th May – Hudders
O.R.k. brings together an international lineup of progressive, alternative, and art-rock talent, featuring Australian bassist Colin Edwin (ex-Porcupine Tree), American drummer Pat Mastelotto (King Crimson), Italian vocalist LEF (Obake), and Italian guitarist Carmelo Pipitone (Marta sui Tubi).
The band was formed in 2014 and released its first single JellyFish in January 2015. Still in the same year, on 2 October, its debut studio album Inflamed Rides was independently published.
The second album, called Soul of an Octopus, was published on 24 February 2017 by RareNoiseRecords. The third album of the band, named Ramagehead, was published on 22 February 2019 by label Kscope. The album sees the addition of the vocals of System of a Down frontman Serj Tankian on the song Black Blooms. On 21 October 2022 the band released the fourth album Screamnasium still by Kscope label. The album also features Italian singer Elisa as a guest vocalist on the song Consequence. The band started touring Europe in support of the album in April 2023. The art for the last two albums was created by Tool’s guitarist Adam Jones.
Joining them, The Paradox Twin—formed by singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Danny Sorrell—has made waves with its debut album ‘The Importance of Mr. Bedlam’ and the highly acclaimed follow-up ‘Silence from Signals’. The album was very well received with the video of the first single from the album, ‘Planeta’, gaining a nomination at the prestigious Progressive Music Awards even before the album had been released. The band went on to receive another nomination the following year in the best new artist’s category. The album has gained the band a worldwide reputation and following with glowing reviews and radio plays.
The band since has released its much anticipated follow up album Silence from Signals, which, just like their debut, has received outstanding reviews, and one not to be missed! The forthcoming new album is now being recorded and more info about it will come soon…
This tour promises an extraordinary opportunity for fans to dive into the rich, innovative soundscapes crafted by two of the most exciting contemporary progressive rock bands.
