Christian metal pioneers Stryper are back on the road across the United States this fall, carrying the songs of their brand new album Throne of Thorns from the Northeast to the Midwest and the South. The run, which opened at the end of September in New Hampshire after a European warm-up at Germany’s Loud and Proud Festival, continues through late October before a special stop in San Juan, Puerto Rico in December and an appearance on The 80s Cruise in early 2027.
Tickets for every date are on sale now through the band’s official website, and fans can also secure exclusive meet and greet packages for select shows, offering a rare chance to get up close with Michael Sweet, Robert Sweet, Oz Fox and Perry Richardson.
More than four decades after the yellow-and-black stripes first lit up the Sunset Strip, Stryper remain one of the most consistent live acts in classic metal. The 2026 shows mix the band’s landmark anthems with fresh material from the new record, giving longtime fans and newcomers alike the chance to hear how naturally the new songs sit next to the classics.
Throne of Thorns Is Out Now
The tour arrives on the heels of Throne of Thorns, Stryper’s 18th studio album, released via Frontiers Music Srl. The record pairs thunderous rhythms and soaring twin-guitar harmonies with the anthemic choruses the band is known for, balancing intensity and melody while pushing their sound forward. Fan favorites already include “Here In Your Heart”, “Ashes To Roses”, “I’m Alright (I’m Okay)” and the closing “Shadowbreaker”.
“‘Shadowbreaker’ is a full throttle banger and a great way to end the album. It represents our heavier side perfectly, and where we’re at as a band in 2026.”
Michael Sweet
For the first time in Stryper’s 43-year history, Michael Sweet played every guitar on a Stryper record. He told us all about it, and much more, in our recent conversation: Michael Sweet Interview: Stryper’s Throne of Thorns (2026). You can also read our full Throne of Thorns album review.
If you haven’t seen it yet, the official music video for “Here In Your Heart” is streaming now:
