Roman Numeral Records are thrilled to announce the release of Of Blood And Memory  – the new album from the Seattle-based avant-garde act To End It All, set to be released digitally and on vinyl on April 19, 2024. Simultaneously with this monolithic body of work, we’re releasing a companion remix version of the album on the same day, on the same formats.

Since the fall of 2016, long-time collaborators sound artist Masaaki Masao and vocalist & multi-instrumentalist Joy Von Spain have created new work as To End It All. Building unusual songs with massive dynamic range forged from voices, keyboards, obliterated samples, guitar & classical instruments, the music encompasses dark ambient drones, synths, operatic moments, noise, rhythms & beats, doom metal riffs and lush orchestrations, coming together as an avant-gardist masterwork.

April 19 unleashes the new eight track LP Of Blood And Memory, featuring three songs with world-renowned cellist Lori Goldston (ex-EarthNirvana live) and guest vocalist/guitarist A. K. O’Neill (Serpentent) who often joins as a live member of the band. A companion LP including remixes by irr.app.(ext.)Blood BoxThief, and Xiphoid Dementia and a cover by The Unbodied Air (members of Bell Witch & Aerial Ruin) will also be available in very limited quantities.

On April 18 in Seattle there will be a multi-media acoustic/Classical arrangement of the album by Von Spain for three voices with cellist Goldston and violinist Jackie An. Following this unique experience at the beautiful Chapel Performance Space, the electric trio version of To End It All will tour their full album in limited dates on the West Coast US. May 10th in Oakland, CA the trio will premiere a new collaboration with ballet/butoh artist Monique Tajiri Goldwater at The Spire.
