Tyketto will release Closer To The Sun Deluxe on November 27 via Silver Lining Music, an expanded double-disc edition of their acclaimed sixth studio album. The band has also shared a new video for “The Picture”, the latest single from the record.
Frontman Danny Vaughn says the song almost never saw the light of day. He rediscovered it on an old demo while preparing to write the album.
“Why had it never been released before? I guess the time just wasn’t right. But the time is right now, going by the overwhelming reaction we have received from fans all over the world.”

Vaughn calls “The Picture” the natural successor to the band’s classic “Standing Alone”.
What’s on the Deluxe Edition
Alongside the full album, the second disc adds radio edits, live recordings from the band’s recent touring, including two songs captured at Stonedead Festival 2025, and a piano version of “The Picture” previously available only in Japan. The set comes as a double CD digipak, digital download, streaming and D2C bundles. Pre-order here.
