Swedish heavy psych trio Domkraft have released “Aurora”, the final single from their fifth album Night Songs, out November 20 via Magnetic Eye Records.

Songs of Darkness and Resilience
Night Songs was shaped by the serious medical crisis guitarist Martin Widholm went through in 2025, which required several complicated surgeries. The band wrote during his long recovery, and the songs move from fear and panic to cautious relief and, finally, gratitude at still being able to make music together. The title plays on darkness versus light, from personal hardship to the state of the world.
David Castillo (Opeth, Candlemass, Katatonia) recorded the album at Studio Gröndahl in Stockholm, and Karl Daniel Lidén (Greenleaf, Lowrider, Breach) mixed and mastered it again. Björn Atldax created the artwork.

About Domkraft
Martin Wegeland (vocals, bass), Martin Widholm (guitars) and Anders Dahlgren (drums) bonded over Spacemen 3, Monster Magnet, Sleep and Hawkwind. Since their 2016 debut The End of Electricity, followed by Flood (2018), Seeds (2021) and Sonic Moons (2023), they have moved from towering doom toward psychedelic heavy rock, playing four Desertfests, Psycho Las Vegas, ArcTanGent and more. Next up: Høstsabbat in Oslo (October 23/24) and Stoned from the Underground in Erfurt (July 8 to 10, 2027).
