Progressive fusion metal outfit AMNÏON have released their crushing new single “Perish Twice” along with an accompanying music video. The track offers a first glimpse of the band’s debut full-length album Spiral Love, set for release on January 29, 2027 via M-Theory Audio. Pre-orders on vinyl, CD and digital formats are live now.
The lineup brings together seasoned veterans of the heavy music scene, including guitarist Jason Gobel (ex-Cynic, Monstrosity, Gordian Knot) and singer Grant Petty (Synkronizity, North Point Drive), alongside German members Matthias Hechler (ex-Crematory), Gernot Leinert and Sanjai Shah Hauschild. Together they blend technical mastery, atmospheric depth and aggressive proficiency into an engulfing sound that honors their storied pasts while forging a distinct new identity.
The video was filmed in Germany at a custom car workshop provided by friend of the band Niky Santana. Directed, shot and edited by Mohsen Rashidi with photographer and camera operator Pedram Nourazar, the production turned the industrial garage into a controlled night shoot with full lighting, fog and continuous playback performance. Gobel flew in from Miami and Petty from Texas to join their German bandmates on set.
Director Mohsen Rashidi adds: “Working with AMNÏON on ‘Perish Twice’ was a seamless collaborative experience. Our focus was on capturing the intricate balance between technical aggression and atmospheric space through multi-angle performances and distinct lighting contrasts.”
The artwork for “Perish Twice” was crafted by long-time visual collaborator Athanasios Tsintsaris at Kleon Publishing.
“The frame and logo retain our core aesthetic, giving ‘Perish Twice’ an elegant look that mirrors the mood of the video.”
