Blue Medusa, the band fronted by Alissa White-Gluz, have released a new single and video, “Crocodile”, out now on all platforms. It follows the singles “Checkmate” and “Flying Monkey.”

Dark and tense, the track works through that creeping sense that danger is closing in even when you cannot see it.

“‘CROCODILE’ speaks of that feeling of being watched… that instinctive fear when you know danger is lurking nearby, even without seeing it. The feeling that something is hiding just beneath the surface of what seems safe or familiar. It is in this tension, between what we perceive and what we sense, that the song lives.” – Alissa White-Gluz

The video continues White-Gluz’s visual work with Vicente Cordero of Industrialism Films, with the two co-directing again. It captures the first ever performance of Blue Medusa with the full band.

In it, White-Gluz plays a one-of-a-kind guitar built by Nik Huber Guitars as part of a three-way collaboration between Sea Shepherd, Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein and Blue Medusa. Fitted with Doyle-signed Von Frankenstein Monster Gear pickups and strings and autographed by both artists, the instrument will be auctioned to benefit Sea Shepherd’s marine conservation work.

Beatriz Mariano of Okkultist also contributes to the release with visuals and saturated vocals.

White-Gluz has had a busy year outside the band. She appeared at Hellfest with a special acoustic set alongside Savage Lands, then turned up with Sepultura on “Kaiowas” during one of the Brazilian band’s final shows. She played three different stages at Wacken Open Air, including “Our Kingdom,” the festival’s official anthem composed with Bear McCreary. She also guested with Dragonforce at Sonic Temple and Welcome to Rockville, and will rejoin them this fall for the Inhumane Rampage anniversary tour in North America, plus surprise appearances with Ice Nine Kills at Rock am Ring, Rock im Park and Heavy Week-End in France.

This autumn brings Blue Medusa’s first ever festival appearances at Louder Than Life and Aftershock, ahead of the band’s arrival in Europe in 2027.
