Detroit rockers Citizen Zero are back. Exactly a decade to the day after their 2016 debut album “State of Mind,” the quartet return with an explosive new single, “Queen Of The Damned,” out now across all streaming platforms. Watch the lyric video below.

Produced by Jim Kaufman, “Queen Of The Damned” is a modern rock anthem built on soaring melodies, muscular riffs and the high-octane energy that has defined Citizen Zero from the start, while nudging the band into bolder new territory.

For more than a decade, Citizen Zero – vocalist Josh Mayle, guitarist Sammy Boller, bassist Sam Collins and drummer John Dudley – have been one of Detroit’s best-kept secrets, building a devoted following across North America on the strength of relentless touring and commanding live shows. Their debut “State of Mind” broke them nationally thanks to the rock-radio hit “Go (Let Me Save You).”

That momentum quickly carried to the stage, where the band earned a reputation as a dynamic live act while sharing bills with the likes of Halestorm, ZZ Top, Royal Blood, Highly Suspect and Black Stone Cherry, and playing major rock festivals across the country.

A decade on from “State of Mind,” “Queen Of The Damned” marks the start of a new chapter for Citizen Zero – polished yet aggressive, unmistakably their own and pointed firmly forward, carrying the same chemistry and conviction that first put the band on the map. An official music video is on the way, with more new music and touring on the horizon.
