Collective Soul have unveiled a new video for “Eye On You,” one of the standout tracks from their latest album, Touch and Go, which arrived July 31 through the band’s own Fuzze-Flex Records, with physical distribution handled by AMPED Distribution and digital by Virgin Music Group.
The record finds the veteran Atlanta rockers leaning into the sound of The Cars and ’80s New Wave, a direction the band deliberately chased while tracking the album. That retro spirit runs all through the new clip for “Eye On You,” out now on the group’s official YouTube channel.
Originally offered as part of this past spring’s Record Store Day, the 10-track Touch and Go is now available across all digital platforms, on CD, and on 180-gram teal-marble colored vinyl. Critics have singled out the album’s New Wave-tinged palette and the way Ed Roland’s vocals nod to the era, praising the band for finding fresh territory more than three decades into their career.
Few bands from the ’90s have kept the momentum going quite like Collective Soul. With more than 15 million albums sold worldwide — six of them certified Gold or Platinum — and seven #1 singles to their name, including “Shine,” “December,” and “The World I Know,” the group remains a fixture on the road. Their North American headlining tour continues throughout the summer and into the fall.
