On their quest to become immortal Dutch/Slovakian downtempo/deathcore ensemble DISTANT are unleashing another epic audio-visual treat, “The Undying”. In typical DISTANT fashion the story was written by Elmer Maurits and Alan Grnja and directed by Pavel Trebukhin for the creative forge tre.film.
DISTANT has become one of the prominent faces of European Deathcore. Melding together brutal death metal, slam, noise and beatdown with a hyper-dissonant orchestra of impending doom, they’ve come eons since their origins as metalcore obsessed friends in Rotterdam and Bratislava.
The band just finished tours with AUSTRIAN DEATH MACHINE and GHOST IRIS and SUFFOCATION in May and June before playing summer festivals and shows with BORN OF OSIRIS.
