Evanescence Release Music Video For “Tell Me When You’ve Had Enough”

Sep 8, 2026

Evanescence have released the official music video for “Tell Me When You’ve Had Enough”, a track from their latest album Sanctuary.

The clip was directed by Eric Richter, whose credits include Knocked Loose and Dying Wish, and was cut entirely from footage shot during the band’s recent North American leg of their 2026 World Tour. That makes it as much a tour document as a promo video, which suits a song about refusing to be handled.

Per the band, the track is aimed at anyone tired of being controlled and manipulated. It asks how much a person is willing to give up to stay on the path of least resistance, and where the point comes at which resisting is the only option left.

The song was co-written and produced by Zakk Cervini, known for his work with Bad Omens, Bring Me The Horizon and Spiritbox, alongside Jordan Fish, formerly of Bring Me The Horizon and more recently behind records by Architects and Poppy. Amy Lee has pointed to that pairing as the biggest change on Sanctuary, telling Rolling Stone Australia it is what sets the album apart.

The band’s previous single “Who Will You Follow” became the fastest moving rock radio single of their career, entering the Top 10 at U.S. rock radio in under four weeks and reaching number one on Billboard’s U.S. and Canadian Mainstream Rock charts and the Rock & Alternative chart, plus their first ever number one on the Hard Rock chart. Separately, “Bring Me To Life” recently earned Diamond certification from the RIAA.

Sanctuary is out now via BMG on digital, standard CD, deluxe CD and a limited edition box set, with the double vinyl issued September 4. The deluxe CD is exclusive to the band’s own store and adds a Blu-ray containing a Live In São Paulo concert film, a documentary from the 2023 South America tour and a behind the scenes look at the making of the “Who Will You Follow” video.

The band opened the UK and Europe arena portion of their World Tour on September 8 at First Direct Arena in Leeds, with Poppy supporting throughout, K-Flay on the UK dates and Nova Twins on the European ones. On the North American run they worked with PLUS1 and raised close to a quarter of a million dollars for Direct Relief and Help Hope Live.
