Blues-boogie rock legends Foghat have announced their first-ever live album featuring the current lineup. Live & Loud Across the U.S.A. arrives October 30, 2026 via the band’s own Foghat Records, distributed by Select-O-Hits (part of the Sun Records family). To mark the news, the band has also released the album’s first single, “My Babe,” available today on all digital platforms.
The release comes as a triple vinyl set. Two gold vinyl discs collect the live material — much of it appearing as official live recordings for the first time — captured in cities across America during the band’s 2024 and 2025 tours. A bonus third red vinyl disc delivers the long-awaited vinyl debut of Shaken & Stirred, the fan-favorite record by Earl & The Agitators (aka Foghat), produced, mixed, and mastered by guitarist Bryan Bassett. A limited run of numbered, autographed copies is also available through TalkShop.Live.
More than 55 years after forming in the U.K., Foghat — founding drummer Roger Earl, lead/slide guitarist Bryan Bassett, lead vocalist/guitarist Scott Holt, and bassist Rodney O’Quinn — remain one of rock & roll’s hardest-working live acts. Their trademark blend of blues, boogie, and straight-ahead rock powered classics like “Slow Ride,” “Fool for the City,” and “I Just Want to Make Love to You,” and the band is still charting: 2023’s Sonic Mojo spent 34 weeks on Billboard’s Top 10 Blues Albums chart, including two weeks at #1 — the first time Foghat topped any Billboard chart.
The new album’s packaging includes a personal message from Roger Earl:
“People often ask me if we’re ever going to slow down. The answer is… not yet! The performances on this album were recorded in cities across the United States during the past two years. We didn’t set out to make a live record — we simply wanted to capture Foghat doing what we’ve always loved to do: playing live. Most of these songs have never been released as official live recordings before, and I think they show where the band is today. For the second disc, we wanted to include something that many people may not realize is also part of the Foghat story. Earl and The Agitators isn’t another band – it’s us. Whether you know us as Foghat or Earl & The Agitators, it’s always been about playing music we believe in and sharing it with people who love it as much as we do. Thank you for coming along with us on this incredible journey. See you down the road…”
– Roger Earl
