A decade has passed since the unveiling of GWAR’s monumental masterpiece, “Battle Maximus.” This album serves as a tribute to the fallen Scumdog Warrior, Flattus Maximus (also known as Corey Smoot), and stands as the last recorded album featuring the iconic vocalist Oderus Urungus (AKA Dave Brockie) before his departure from planet Earth in 2014.
To commemorate this significant milestone, GWAR has released a special 10th Anniversary Edition of “Battle Maximus.” This remastered edition not only boasts a complete remix but also includes the final recorded vocal performance by Oderus Urungus on the previously unreleased and unheard track, ‘Tammy, The Swine Queen.’
Blothar the Berserker, the current vocalist, commented on the album, saying, “Musically, ‘Battle Maximus’ represents an impressive debut by Pustulus Maximus, while lyrically, it encapsulates the ultimate artistic expression of our lead singer and band founder, Oderus Urungus. The album brims with Oderus’ wild, daring, and utterly bizarre imagination. In fact, this re-release even features a song so eccentric that we named it twice, and it’s a gem that our fans won’t want to miss – ‘Tammy, Queen of Dirt,’ or ‘Tammy, the Swine Queen’ – a final tribute to the maestro of mayhem, Oderus Urungus.”

In a thrilling announcement, GWAR is gearing up to wage war on humanity once again with their upcoming “Age of Imbeciles” Tour this fall! The infamous Lords and Masters of Shock Rock will hit the road, wreaking havoc and unleashing chaos upon audiences throughout the United States and Canada.
