Rochester heavy psych trio King Buffalo have released “Vagabond”, the second single from their new album Doomsayer, out December 4. The Mike Turzanski-directed video was filmed in the new studio the band built for themselves.

“It’s been a long road getting the space to where it is today, and there’s still plenty to do. It feels great to finally share a glimpse of the new home we’ve built for ourselves, and to debut the second single from Doomsayer.”

Their Most Direct Record Yet
Doomsayer arrives four years after Regenerator and grew out of long jam sessions in the new space in early 2026. Guitarist and vocalist Sean Roa, who also produced and mixed the album, says it is some of the band’s most upfront and riff-driven work to date. The first single, “The Slick and The Dead”, came out earlier this fall. The standard purple opaque vinyl and the CD are still available, while the test pressings and deluxe vinyl have sold out.
