The track is taken from the band’s latest album, “Scoring the End of the World“, which was recently released as a Deluxe Edition with four new bonus tracks. The album was originally released in June 2022.
The video was directed by Max Moore and features the band performing the song in a dark and desolate setting. The imagery is meant to reflect the song’s lyrics, which are about finding hope in the midst of despair.
In a statement, Motionless in White frontman Chris Motionless said, “‘Sign of Life‘ is a song about finding hope in the darkest of times. It’s about never giving up, even when things seem hopeless. We wanted the video to reflect that message, so we created something that was both visually stunning and emotionally powerful.”
The Deluxe Edition of “Scoring the End of the World” is available now on vinyl in a variety of colors, including black, orange, hellfire, scorched earth, and electric purple which has a special alternate cover design.
The album features guest appearances from Bryan Garris of Knocked Loose, Caleb Shomo of Beartooth, and video game composer Mick Gordon.
“Scoring the End of the World” is the band’s first full-length body of work in three years since 2019’s “Disguise“. The record claimed a spot on Loudwire’s “50 Best Metal Albums of 2019“.
