Renowned Brazilian/Canadian guitarist Rod Rodrigues has officially released the single and video for “Inukshuk,” the lead track from his eagerly awaited album “Tales of a Changing Life Part 2,” scheduled for release on October 18th.
The single “Inukshuk” features an all-star lineup, including guitar virtuoso Angel Vivaldi, bassist Heitor Tenorio, keyboardist and pianist Orlan Charles, and drummer John Macaluso (known for his work with ARK, TNT, Yngwie Malmsteen, Symphony X, Riot and others). Rodrigues expressed his excitement about the collaboration, stating, “It’s an immense pleasure and honor to work with such extraordinary talents. Collaborating with John Macaluso, one of my all-time favorite drummers, and Angel Vivaldi, an exceptional guitarist and individual, has been an incredible experience.”
The album Tales of a Changing Life Part 2, produced by Rod Rodrigues, was mixed by Renato Osório and mastered by Kris Crummett (Nick Johnston, Issues, Sleeping With Sirens). Rodrigues reflects on the album, saying, “With Tales of a Changing Life Part 2, I feel I’ve reached a new pinnacle as a musician and composer. This album allows me to convey the profound personal transformation I’ve experienced over the last decade through my music. Additionally, I had the privilege of working with a stellar group of musicians who each brought their unique flair to the project.”

About Rod Rodrigues:
Rod Rodrigues, a graduate of IG&T and Claretiano University, has been a prominent figure in music education since 1997, teaching across Brazil, Canada, and Europe. In 2018, he launched “Extreme Guitar Workout”, an online training program with a global following. Rodrigues has collaborated with notable musicians including Kiko Loureiro (Megadeth), Edu Ardanuy (Sinistra, ex-Dr. Sin), and Rafael Bittencourt (Angra).
Rodrigues has also been part of various bands such as Enemies of Reality, Falling Into a Dream (a Dream Theater tribute), and Electra. His debut solo EP, “The First Step: Introduction” (2010), received acclaim from major publications like Guitar Player, Cover Guitarra, and Guitarload. In 2019, he continued his instrumental solo work with the single “T.A.G.,” and his track “Changing Plans” was featured on the Vola Guitars compilation *Volasophy*. The EP “Tales of a Changing Life Part 1” (2022) marked the start of a conceptual series exploring the transformative stages of his life.
