After much anticipation, The Rolling Stones have officially unveiled the title of their upcoming album, “Hackney Diamonds,” marking their first studio album since 2005.

The band took to social media to share the exciting news and revealed that they will provide a comprehensive overview of the LP during a live-streamed event on YouTube, scheduled for Wednesday, September 6. This special event will take place in London’s Hackney district, featuring interviews with Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ron Wood, hosted by “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” host, Jimmy Fallon.

While Hackney holds a special place in the album’s heart, The Rolling Stones expressed their desire to make this a global celebration accessible to fans worldwide through YouTube, as stated in their official statement.

This upcoming LP will be The Rolling Stones’ first original release since the passing of their drummer, Charlie Watts, in 2021. It marks a significant milestone, representing the band’s return with new material after nearly two decades since “A Bigger Bang” in 2005. In 2016, they released “Blue & Lonesome,” a collection of cover songs paying homage to classic blues tracks.
