We Came As Romans Team Up With Make Them Suffer on “DEAD SILENT” Ahead of Circularity

Michigan metalcore heavyweights We Came As Romans have teamed up with Make Them Suffer on “DEAD SILENT,” a brand new single and music video. It is one of four new songs on All Is Beautiful… Because We’re Doomed: Circularity, the expanded and reimagined version of their 2025 album, which lands this Friday, November 6 via SharpTone Records.

Vocalist Dave Stephens says the collaboration had been a long time coming:

“We’ve wanted to collaborate with our friends in Make Them Suffer for a long time, and ‘Dead Silent’ finally gave us the chance to get in the studio and make it happen.”

He describes the song as being about breaking out of destructive patterns and finding the strength to rebuild, and adds that while it is dark and heavy, “there’s a real sense of fun to it too.”

A 23-Track Loop of Life, Death and Rebirth

Circularity expands the life, death and rebirth cycle at the heart of All Is Beautiful… Because We’re Doomed into 23 tracks. Four new songs, “WHEN EVERYTHING IS STILL,” “DEAD SILENT,” “BORN FROM NOTHING” and “SPEAK TO EXIST,” sit at the front of the tracklist and explore the afterlife between death and reincarnation, so the record leads straight back into the original album every time it loops.

Six existing tracks have also been rebuilt with Currents, After The Burial, HEAVENSGATE, Rory Rodriguez of Dayseeker, Ladrones, Headwreck and Bury Tomorrow. Bury Tomorrow wrote an entirely new chorus, and Ladrones turned “culture wound” into a full Spanish recording with flamenco guitar. We covered the project when it was first announced and when the band shared the Headwreck version of “where did you go?”.

Our Take

Most deluxe editions just add a few bonus tracks at the end. Turning an album into a loop, with new songs that bridge the ending back to the beginning, is a far more ambitious idea, and handing old songs to other bands to rebuild fits the record’s theme of transformation. Pairing up with Make Them Suffer for the darkest corner of that loop makes perfect sense. It is a creative way to give a 2025 album a second life.
