Berlin progressive metal band Chaosbay have signed with Metal Blade Records. To celebrate, they have released “Egosystem”, the third single from their new album, due in March 2027, along with an official video.

“The idea of the track was to combine the reggaeton feeling derived from hip-hop and nu-metal with catchy metalcore hooks and riffs.”

Produced by frontman Jan Listing, the song follows July’s “How Does It Make You Feel?” and September’s “The Lost Kids”. Like those singles, it also comes with a “soft version”, here a groovy indie take with a prog-rock touch that weaves in themes from other songs on the album.
Chaosbay Join Metal Blade
“We’re incredibly happy to have been signed by such a renowned label as Metal Blade with our new material. A team that knows how to combine the classic roots of the genre with the modern world of metal and create something new from it is a perfect fit for a band like us.”
Chaosbay
Mixing progressive metal, metalcore, big melodies and crushing riffs, Chaosbay have built a strong live reputation, playing festivals like Wacken Open Air and sharing stages with ERRA, Annisokay, Siamese, Vended and Emil Bulls. More music and touring are planned for 2027 ahead of the new album.
