Foo Fighters have dropped the second installment of their live EP series, “Are Playing Where??? Vol. II.”
The new volume gathers six raw, high-energy performances captured earlier this year during the band’s sweat-soaked underplay shows at Irving Plaza in New York City and Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey. It’s available now on Bandcamp on a pay-what-you-want basis, with proceeds going to local charities tied to both cities.
The release lands as Foo Fighters power through the North American leg of their “Take Cover” stadium tour, with a run of South American dates just added for early 2027. Their latest full-length, “Your Favorite Toy,” arrived in April via Roswell Records/RCA Records – co-produced by the band and Oliver Roman, who also engineered, with Mark “Spike” Stent on the mix – timed to the launch of the “Take Cover” world tour.
The EP also documents a new era behind the kit: drummer Ilan Rubin, formerly of Nine Inch Nails, made his live debut with the Dave Grohl-led band on September 13, 2025, at a surprise, all-ages show at the 900-capacity Fremont Theater in San Luis Obispo, California – announced just a day in advance.
