Foghat Release Video For “My Babe”, First Single From Live Album “Live & Loud Across The U.S.A.”

Aug 31, 2026

Foghat have released the music video for “My Babe”, the first single from their upcoming triple vinyl release Live & Loud Across The U.S.A., due out October 30 on the band’s own Foghat Records, distributed by Select-O-Hits, part of the Sun Records family.

The song itself arrived digitally on August 14. The video premiered today on the band’s official YouTube channel.

The release marks the first live album recorded by the current Foghat lineup: founding drummer Roger Earl, lead and slide guitarist Bryan Bassett, lead vocalist and guitarist Scott Holt, and bassist Rodney O’Quinn. The performances were captured in cities across the United States during the band’s 2024 and 2025 tours, and most of the songs have never appeared as official live recordings before.

The package comes as two gold vinyl discs plus a bonus third disc pressed on red vinyl. That third record is a reissue of Shaken & Stirred, the fan favorite album originally credited to Earl & The Agitators, a side project that is in fact Foghat under another name. Produced, mixed and mastered by Bryan Bassett, it has never been available on vinyl until now. A limited run of numbered and autographed copies is being sold through TalkShop.Live.

In a message included with the packaging, Roger Earl wrote:

“People often ask me if we’re ever going to slow down. The answer is… not yet!
The performances on this album were recorded in cities across the United States during the past two years. We didn’t set out to make a live record–we simply wanted to capture Foghat doing what we’ve always loved to do: playing live. Most of these songs have never been released as official live recordings before, and I think they show where the band is today.
For the second disc, we wanted to include something that many people may not realize is also part of the Foghat story. Earl and The Agitators isn’t another band – it’s us.
Whether you know us as Foghat or Earl & The Agitators, it’s always been about playing music we believe in and sharing it with people who love it as much as we do. Thank you for coming along with us on this incredible journey. We couldn’t have done it without your support, and we hope these recordings bring you as much enjoyment as we’ve had making them.
See you down the road…”

Foghat formed in the U.K. more than 55 years ago and built a catalog around blues, boogie and straight ahead rock, with staples like “Slow Ride,” “Fool for the City” and “I Just Wanna Make Love To You.” The band has stayed on the road through the 2025 Slow Ride 50th Anniversary Tour and the ongoing 2026 Twang & Bang Tour, playing the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Europe, and returning to the U.K. for the first time in 52 years.

Their most recent studio album, Sonic Mojo, arrived in November 2023 and spent 34 weeks on the Billboard Blues Albums chart, including two weeks at number one. That was the first time the band had topped any Billboard chart with a new release.
