Hunnu Rock pioneers The HU have released the official music video for “Warrior Chant,” a track from their third full-length album HUN, out now.
Galaa broke down what makes the track theirs:
“Warrior Chant has our signature rhythm that our fans fell in love with and everyone who will listen and know us will say that it is our song. Our third album has bit of everything -rhythm wise, and we see that as a progress of expanding the Hunnu Rock genre. This song has the rhythm that is original to us and is rooted in Mongolian culture. Enkush and I focused on horse head fiddle solos by imitating the horse gait and you will hear the rhythm throughout the song. Of course Jaya perfected the rhythm by adding Mongolian wind instrument, Unu did heavy percussion drum throughout. Mongolian traditional instruments are heavily used on this song and our die hard fans are going to love it!”
The song first arrived back in March, ahead of the album.
Vinyl Rollout
The vinyl editions of HUN start rolling out September 11 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, followed by wider Europe on September 18 and the UK on October 9, all via Better Noise Music. A box set arrives later in October.

HUN finds the band at the peak of their powers so far, expanding their signature soundscape across 11 tracks steeped in the lore and legend of Mongolia while reaching for universal ambition. Kerrang! called it a stream of sound that is utterly irresistible without sounding like anybody else, Metal Hammer said the band is worthy of all the endorsements they have picked up, and Distorted Sound described it as their most diverse and fulfilling album to date.
