Swedish rock titans Graveyard have unleashed “Tongue Tied,” an incendiary new single with an official video, serving as the second preview of their seventh studio album Fever, out October 9 worldwide via Nuclear Blast Records.
Shaking off the gloomier, introverted atmosphere of 2023’s Six, “Tongue Tied” shifts the band into high gear. Built on up-tempo momentum and a relentless, hard-hitting groove, it stands out as one of the most direct and urgent songs in their catalog. Drenched in thick fuzz and driven by a blistering rhythm section, it captures an uncompromising, high-velocity energy without sacrificing a drop of their signature blues-soaked soul.
To match the track’s breakneck drive the band enlisted Swedish director Emil Klinta, whose visual palette has previously shaped videos for Ghost and The Hellacopters. His clip mirrors the song’s electric pace with performance-driven intensity and a sleek, cinematic rock and roll edge.
The track was mixed by Pelle Gunnerfeldt, renowned for capturing the ferocious live energy of The Hives, Refused and Viagra Boys, and mastered by Robin Schmidt at 24-96 Mastering.
